Terms

 

Payment: A deposit is required to reserve a boat rental unless otherwise noted. The remaining balance is due at the start of the rental period.

 

Cancellation policy: Cancellations made within a certain time period may result in a cancellation fee. The exact policy may vary based on the type of rental and rental period.

 

Boating license: Depending on the state and the type of boat, a boating license may be required. It is the renter's responsibility to obtain the necessary licenses and permits.

 

Boat operation: Only the renter and authorized passengers are allowed to operate the boat. The renter must be present on the boat at all times.

 

Safety equipment: All passengers are required to wear provided life jackets at all times while on the boat. The renter is responsible for ensuring that all safety equipment is on board and in good condition.

 

Damage and cleaning: The renter is responsible for any damage to the boat or equipment during the rental period. The renter is also responsible for cleaning the boat and returning it in the same condition as when it was rented.

 

Weather: The rental company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a rental due to inclement weather or unsafe boating conditions.

 

Prohibited activities: The following activities are prohibited while operating the boat: drinking alcohol, using illegal substances, operating the boat while under the influence, and exceeding the boat's maximum capacity.

 

Liability waiver: The renter will be required to sign a liability waiver before renting the boat.
